the registration email didn't arrive

I've just helped somebody to sign up for the caf, but he hasn't recieved the email that needs to be used to confirm the registration.

username: guirinho

using a @live.com email address.

Can the email be sent/re-sent?
 
It must be, the registration went through and he can sign in. But he can't see the newbs or post because the registration has not been activated. Either the email didn't get sent or its been accidentally deleted. Either way I need it resent.
 
The system shows an email is to be sent to him...maybe give it a day and if he still hasn't heard mention it again in here. There is another live.com email user still to be notificated from today and one that has been notified from yesterday.
 
i remember thinking that there was something dodgy about this first time around and I havent changed that opinion

Its the same lad GB, my youngest son, 17. He lives with his mum in Birmingham and tried, half heartedly I think, to register a few weeks ago. He's with me for the summer and has been reading along with me on the caf. When he starts posting you'll see that its not a duplicate account, his posts will probably be mostly in the football forums, and much more intelligent than mine.

I don't really need/want a duplicate account tbf, I can post in the mains and the newbs in any case. I have always treated the caf with respect in that sense as you know.

However, I do understand your reason for suspicion, and no offence taken/meant but you are not correct this time.

thanks for explaining Sol, dont mean any disrespect. In most cases registration emails are not received because the person has entered something incorrectly in their email address, using a banned email address, an invalid email address or there is simply a delay in the mail going to that particular server.

Please pm me his email address and i will check that he hasn't miss-spelled something
