Hah, ok. Nobbers is the only problem on the horizon

Can I rip up P-Nuts contract please

Actually @P-Nut you have a 95% chance of re-signing. So you might want to rip it up anyway. You've spent enough time at Denver for it to be "free" anyway.

Of course, you might well just end up signing for them again, what with the P-Nut shaped hole you're leaving.

Of course there is, rarely make the playoffs but we just want to stay forever. Yeah get me out of there man if I do resign

The Spurs have won their third ring! In the end it wasn't very close, though it required avoiding injuries to a very thin squad beyond the starting 5. To those that are worried that this means the Spurs are going to win the next 8 rings in a row, I wouldn't be too worried. There are already signs that some of the young stars aren't happy being just a cog in the machine, particularly when the Spurs don't seem to favour upping their facility spending to match the ambition. But that is a challenge for the future, for now the Spurs are victorious!

20 minutes a game in the finals at 41 - GOAT

Sonius you could argue was FMVP though.

I'm still the assist king.
KD clearly let me down there.

The San Antonio Spurs won their 3rd ever Championship, all with the current golden generation crop. A 79-3 regular season followed by a 16-0 regular season run, no doubt the best team in NBA history. They have weaknesses, but their starting 5 has none. I won't predict an obvious repeat winner quite yet, given they failed to win again after both their previous rings.

I think I got everyone. This is the first time since 1997 that altodevil doesn't have a single 25+ rebound game. I guess 21 isn't too bad for a 41 year old. Decide for yourself whether it was a good trade or not for the Lakers. I guess they got what they wanted: a bad team to get good picks for the future.

(This reminds me, I should do another stat bonanza after this season)

3rd team all-defense as a bench player of 41 years of age.

nimic you shit on everything your golden goose has achieved

I forgot we got the pick for Murray in the Alto trade… What a terrible trade by Lakers

We are a shutdown defence, when our reserve big is 3rd team all defence and we got 3 1st team. Then we just let nobbers do his thing on the other end, and score if he lends us the ball. Will be a sad day when it gets broken up

Nature abhors a vacuum, and I think in the game players abhor small markets. If all your contracts expired right now, Nobbers would have a 52% desire to re-sign, you 40% and Sonius 12%. altodevil >99%, because he knows a good time when he sees it. Incidentally, those first three are in order of playing time, so that might have an impact too.

Well said. I think Heine also doesn't realize they're literally burning Spurs' shirts all over the continent except for one city.

P-Nut is yet to find a team. I suspect he'll find one as soon as the season starts.

Trades

So many trades.

SebJr (Wizards > Pelicans), BenitwoSTARRLET (Pelicans) - the self-proclaimed Assist King only got one season in Washington. Maybe Durant was jealous?
F5w2P92.png

Solius (Kings > Knicks), reelworld II, Stobzilla II & Two Nil (Knicks) - this could be an amazing trade, or an all-time bad one. It all hinges on what happens over the summer with these players and their ratings.
