Watched this earlier today on DVD for probably the 1000th time. Probably the best film ever made in Ireland, Cong and Connemara look stunning in it, and having lived in that area, it's still great to see.

You also have Maureen O'Hara and her classically beautiful lemon shaped breasts.

Great stuff, and a very underrated filem.

Good film but haven't seen it for a long time.

From what I can remember, it was a bit of an oddity for (the Great) John Ford.

Still the best fight ever on film.

I liked 'The Wind That Shakes the Barley'.

Funny as feck.

Bullshit. The Commitments is the best film made in Ireland. The Quiet Man is good though, classic film.

The Quiet Man, I watched this yesterday like you for about the 1000th time. Was my nans favourite movie by far and she's watch it over and over if she could. Reminds me so much of her and because of that it'll always be a special film to me! Love the fight too.

I've just downloaded this.

If it's rubbish, I'm coming after you.

You need to watch Ong Bak or They Live.

I have and whilst they are brilliant fights nothing beats a manly punch up, no squabbling or ballet fights. Just 2 blokes punching each other till one falls.
