Enjoyed listening to that, definitely one of the best they've done. O'Neill is an excellent storyteller and his humour is great.

Was lucky to have him at Wycombe for 5 years in the 90s - an excellent, super intelligent guy.
And Steve Guppy too (Gups), an absolutely old school superb left winger - direct, dribbler, Beckham esque crosser from the left.

What I like most is how Keano looks at him when he relaying a tale or 2. Very few people engender that respect in Keane.

She's clean useless i think. There's more knowledge women analysts about that they could replace her with but she was a popular fave after her stint on I'm a celeb etc they probably thought she was the best to bring in.

She was dreadful. At one point when they were talking about John Robertson she said something like ‘…i need to go and watch some youtube videos about him’. Bit late for that. She insults her audience. If she isn't going to do any prep at least give the scouse lad a rest and make the tea for Roy and Martin…

Sadly she's suffered the most from the United love in. She is only 37 so she was 13 in 2000 so the 90s when you were doing well she was still a kid, plus when they get people like Martin on to talk about Clough and stuff it's before her time.

I thought that they'd have had a female player or coach on at this point where she could provide more value in that respect.

They have plenty of other podcasts and videos they do on the Overlap channel that only get 10k views at times and it's because they don't have the Stick to Football crew. That's what brings the audience in and then the guest. People will still watch because it has that crew. They regularly get 1m+ on those videos. You'd still get 500k+ I reckon with a female footballer.

I think she's usually a good addition to the show, but she was rather useless in this one. Though, in fairness, O'Neil is such a good storyteller they didn't really need anyone aside Keane on it, all the participants were quieter than usual. It was a great episode in any case, really enjoyed it.
