Was lucky to have him at Wycombe for 5 years in the 90s - an excellent, super intelligent guy.Enjoyed listening to that, definitely one of the best they've done. O'Neill is an excellent storyteller and his humour is great.
He would have told all the players to throw their medals in the binThat was a great pod. Martin O'Neill is a class act.
At the time of SAF's rumoured exit I was actually quite keen on him getting the job.
Honestly I don’t see what she brings to the group? When she talks it’s only occasionally related to what they are discussing.Jill Scott’s lack of any preparation was exposed. She could have simply watched ‘I Believe in Miracles’.
She's clean useless i think. There's more knowledge women analysts about that they could replace her with but she was a popular fave after her stint on I'm a celeb etc they probably thought she was the best to bring in.Honestly I don’t see what she brings to the group? When she talks it’s only occasionally related to what they are discussing.
She was dreadful. At one point when they were talking about John Robertson she said something like ‘…i need to go and watch some youtube videos about him’. Bit late for that. She insults her audience. If she isn't going to do any prep at least give the scouse lad a rest and make the tea for Roy and Martin…Honestly I don’t see what she brings to the group? When she talks it’s only occasionally related to what they are discussing.
Or a weird sex jokeHonestly I don’t see what she brings to the group? When she talks it’s only occasionally related to what they are discussing.

Well the thing with that is they still want people to actually watch it. Big companies like sky will champion women in football when it’s easy, but if it affects their bottom line then forget it.Sadly she's suffered the most from the United love in. She is only 37 so she was 13 in 2000 so the 90s when you were doing well she was still a kid, plus when they get people like Martin on to talk about Clough and stuff it's before her time.
I thought that they'd have had a female player or coach on at this point where she could provide more value in that respect.
Pretty sure Sky don't own the Overlap.Well the thing with that is they still want people to actually watch it. Big companies like sky will champion women in football when it’s easy, but if it affects their bottom line then forget it.
They might as well do given it’s hosted on sky they seem really keen to let us know that skybet fund each episode.Pretty sure Sky don't own the Overlap.
Don't really agree that they wouldn't get people watching it either.

Yeah I dunno about that. The podcast does huge numbers on YouTube, but even if they got someone like Serena Wiegman I can’t say I’d be confident it would get half the audience. I’d like to be proven wrong though!
I think she's usually a good addition to the show, but she was rather useless in this one. Though, in fairness, O'Neil is such a good storyteller they didn't really need anyone aside Keane on it, all the participants were quieter than usual. It was a great episode in any case, really enjoyed it.Jill Scott’s lack of any preparation was exposed. She could have simply watched ‘I Believe in Miracles’.
