Is anybody watching this Icelandic comedy on BBC4? It's about 3 guys who work in a petrol station in Rekyavik and is a bit mental. There's the boss, who is a cross between Captain Mainwaring (he even looks like him) and Hitler. The put-upon petrol attendant who dreams of managing a band. And, finally, there is the new trainee, who gave up his medical degree and is full of angst. They get up to all sorts of shenanigans, usually involving the boss being super-strict and making his employees lives hell. All the episodes are on iPlayer and are only about 20-25 minutes long. Well worth a watch if you like The Office and stuff like that.

Me being Icelandic I feel obliged to reply here. I'm glad you like it, I'm not sure if the comedy translates well enough, the first episodes aren't great but it'll start getting better after a few episodes. I hope you'll get the chance to the the next two series after that and the final piece that is a movie.

And if you don't know it, the guy who plays the boss is now the mayor of Reykjavík.

Really? Hahaha, that's fantastic! Yeah, I read about the other 2 series and the film on wiki so I'll hunt them down when I'm finished. It's a great show!

I only really rate the first series. Lost interest in the 2nd series and didn't watch the 3rd. The movie was awful. So depressing.

The first series is quality but like the other Icelander said, probably doesn't translate well. The phrases are original in Icelandic so it'll be interesting to see how they translate it.

OMG, I watched episode 9 last night and nearly spat out my drink when Oli tells Georg what he thinks is the source of the conflict between them. He had been to see a medium, who had told him that he had met Georg in a past life. I won't spoil it for anyone else who might want to watch it, but it contains the single funniest subtitle I've ever seen in my life!
