I want to preface this by saying I like Ragnick and I really hope he gets a prominent role overseeing the direction this club moves in the summer and over the next few years. That is undoubtably his best role and one that I think he could provide some brilliant support for the next manager.

All that being said, he’s an absolutely appalling manager. This is easily the worst coached, trained and motivated group of players I’ve ever seen. We will see some new faces over the summer with others heading out which will certainly freshen up the squad but at the moment this group of players all look League Two quality and most of the blame in that instance does have to fall upon the manager.

That leads me onto my point. The next manager has such a ridiculously simple job. Fan expections will be at the lowest point in our history where all we will need to see next season is some minor improvement and the beginning of a style developing. If the new manager can even get half of a tune out of some of these players (Bruno, Rashford, Varane etc) then that will instantly improve us beyond this point. If he can get just one signing to come in and have an impact, again that will have a sizeable impact. The longer term job is more challenging as eventually we will need to see decent football and results and ultimately trophies but with where this team is currently, most Utd fans will just need to see minor signs over the next couple years. Any manager worth his salt should handle that easily. So despite the current despair and talk of disaster, I truly think this is the easiest big job available over the next couple seasons.

All he needs to do to get the fans onside is find new buyers for the club, get a new stadium, then onto selling the entire squad, buying a new one, then purging the coaching staff of anyone who previously played for United. We'll give him 2 windows and if he's not done that he's gone!

Honestly I don’t think any of our previous managers would be faring much better with this group today. Perhaps Mourinho would have it at a 1-0 but our quality especially with current injuries just isn’t even close to Liverpool who might be the best team in the world currently.

All our managers would have done better and they were all shite. Ragnick looks completely clueless. All the other managers at least had results when we really needed it.

First thing ETH or whoever needs to do on day one is sit down with the academy coaches and ask which lads are worth giving a run in the first team. Build a nucleus of hungry players who are prepared to give all for the badge. Essentially a class of 92 re-vamp, even though the lads probably aren’t at the same quality, is what’s needed. The likes of Laird, Garner, Hannibal, Mengi et al need to be given a shot next season. Let the young lads drive the change, we’ve essentially built a team of uncoachable players. From that side last night I’d honestly say there’s maybe 3 or 4 players who should be in our starting 11 next year. Culture is rotten to the core and some serious work needs to be done to turn this around. Personally I’d create a leadership group of 6 players and rotate the captaincy until the dressing room is being ran how it should be again.

The recruitment of the last 10 odd years, over 1 billion spent, and we are still fielding Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones. I don't care if we have Guardiola or Klopp. It's an absolute disgrace.
