Just seen it for the first time.

Not exactly what you'd call inventive or revolutionary in it's presentation. A clear copy of Sky's layout. Embarrassing I'd call it but it's free so can't complain.

Yep its pretty shit, i aint paying for it on Virgin they can feck off, i'd sooner go to the pub and watch the game(s) ;)

It's the equivalent of SSN which is free (now only on Sky). It's probably free on Virgin too. It's just a news channel and I doubt it's showing games.

SSN showed the Barcelona-Espanol game last night.
Is that the first time a game has been shown on that channel?
 
Virgin customers (of which there are a fair many) cannot get SSN because Sky are such a bunch of wankers. Virgin, therefore, gives out Setanta at a reduced price to make up for this.

Setanta Sports News may be a total ripoff of Sky Sports News, but I don't care. I can't want Sky Sports News, so this actually gives me something to watch.

nah, Uefa Cup games used to be shown on SSN, and a couple of other games have been shown on it too
