JM in 2008: Terry is a virus!
JM in 2013: Casillas is a virus!
JM in 2016: Hazard is a virus!
JM in 2018: Pogba is a virus!

yeah, Pogba must be the reason we are 7th.

Jose has got to go.

I truly admire mourinhos ability to sway people and get them to be on his side continuously despite how awful he has been. This man constantly deflects and blames everyone but himself yet people cape for him in droves. I dont think Ive ever seen a stronger cult of personality. I wish I had it.

Some interesting stats.

We are 16th in the League for Distance covered pet game.

We are 18th in the league for sprints per game.

We have outrun 0/13 opponents.

Doesn’t make for great reading does it ?

Logged on thinking surely after that yesterday he'd be gone, and he's still here....

Convenient, but very true. Like it or not, United are stuck with him until top four is gone and Ed is ready to pull the trigger.

Don’t be paranoid, I’m not looking to «get» anyone - but your absence was certainly conspicuous during that period.

You are wrong, I’d be very interested in talking about a DoF role (just not at this hour!). I do agree that such a role (with the right person) would be a good way forward.

But still that doesn't mean we should accept that and never speak about it, you agree?

I assure you it was solely down to real life issues, besides I missed both the good and the bad bits.

I believe you but you never really replied to any of my comments about tha topic, it's always Mourinho related.

Either way good talk, good talk!

In regards to Mourinho I already said if the results are not there he has to go but when he tried to add width to this team the players were not signed. Im not going into this again but its painful to see. A lot of people think we can just get away with playing forwards and number 10s in wide areas and time and time again the lack of width gets exposed.

Recently we had both Willian and Perišić come out and admit the offer was there but they didn't want to come to United. Now those 2 can't be the only RW players left in this world that can fulfill Mourinho's demands. Also Perišić is primarily LW.

I've not voted in this actually! Don't feel it's my place to do so.
Goshdamn you really are as sensible as your tagline suggest!

It's a pity that every other club that Jose has turned to shit is better run than us. We will let that this shitshow continue for the whole of the season.

Agree it's like the football version of Tony Blair.....

He should go, his tactics are dated, the football is dire and crucially, he's sucked the life out of many long time supporters. But, how much is going to change when he leaves?

Everyone can see the issue, the whole structure needs a complete overhaul and that starts with Woodward dropping the football side of his role and moving onto focus purely on sponsorship deals. A DOF FINALLY needs to come in.

Without the above, I'm worried the next manager is destined to fail in the current structure, no matter how good they are.

I don't get this line of thinking.

We're very poor and not challenging anything under Mourinho. If we replace him with someone under whom we won't be challenging either but at least football would be better, I feel that actually would be a huge improvement over this situation we're in.

The dysfunction isn't worth whatever top 4 clause they're saving on but dysfunction doesn't show on the balance sheet so it doesn't matter. A prolonged period of mediocrity could only begin to show on the profits in a decade when we lose our monopoly on the casuals because they flocked to City and Liverpool. The morons in charge manage the club like they have all the time in the world. What other big club is ready to flush entire seasons down the toilet?

I'd take better football too. Finding someone to follow SAF was always going to be almost impossible and this just proves it. Jose needs to go but we can't be knee jerk about the next appointment and the big problem we have is all the best managers are at the best clubs. I think we are going to have to be brave and stick with someone who has the potential irrespective if things don't work out immediately

Pogba and more importantly De Gea will leave in the summer. We will solidify ourselves as irrelevant. We will have to watch City and Liverpool fight at the top whilst we try and push for top 6. The whole club is a joke and the truth is that they clearly do not care about any of this.

Who would even want the job? We have a bunch of overpaid, underperforming players that I wouldn't expect any other team to want. The fans' expectations are still huge and any new manager would need to get us in the CL at least or face the sack. It's a poisoned chalice.

Changed my vote. He deservedly has been given more time to see if he could turn it around but after a period of playing better we are now back to square one looking like we have no plan or idea of how to play football. I think this is the end of the road now actually, give it a few more games but I think he'll get the sack quite soon.

The clown has put out dire lineups to proove various points a number of times this season. Getting his point across is always more important than getting a result. McTominay, Fellaini and Matic need dropping as starters and the likes of Fred, Herrera and Pereira given a proper chance - it couldn't be any worse than at the moment. If we do sign another centre back the TOP priority must be not to sign another sick note. Jones/ Smalling/Bailly/Rojo all as tough as glass. We have a defensive crisis every fecking year !

Needs to go. Give the job to Butt/McKenna/Carrick until the end of the season, they'll at least get the players to enjoy their football again. The World Cup was 4 months ago and Pogba and Lukaku look like completely different players to the ones we were watching there. Come the summer we should go all out for Pochettino.

Woodward needs to go and we need to completely restructure the club from board level all the way down to the football side of things. Biggest lesson to this all is there is no one who can effectively report on the job Woodward is doing. There needs to be a football guy there to purely judge the football side of things and report into the board. As far as I understand a Director of Football would only get involved with the football side of things and would never report into the board nor be able to influence their decisions.

The guy is an absolute fraud mate.

Dear god we are a shambles. It this were Liverpool etc we would be laughing our arses off on here.

He should have been sacked a long time ago, but now it starts to be just insane that we don't sack him. Mourinho could potentially still turn things around, but only if he changes himself. With how stubborn he is the odds for a change seem very low.

Just realised that Burnley and Young Boys are the only games we’ve won by more than one goal this season...

What will it take for him to lose his job?

Us fans to raise a funds together and just pay him off? Since it is all about fecking money from the clowns near the top. Or we can all just start a collective movement against buying Man United product up to the points when he is gone. We could say stop using/buying products sponsoring Man United and try to spread it around to as many supporters as we can.
I think the problem is supporters of our rivals will probably do the opposite to keep him in his job ;).

Interesting watching the stats as more are changing their vote. Whatever is going on, we need a change now. The part that was telling for me was the body language of the coaching staff on the bench yesterday. Mou has lost the plot and respect. Never liked his appointment but really wanted him to do well for our club. He is not the only problem though and the board needs to really develop a proper plan that at the very least give us a roadmap/vision for future.

The replies are brutal. 99% of tweets asking when he’s gonna he sacked.

Clock is ticking now, he’s done.

There's no reason not to get rid now and try salvage the season. Sure we'd have to pay him 12-15m but I'm sure the club would rather fork that out than lose CL revenue and still have to pay him. The season's already gone so why not.

Replies aside, our official account always looks as if they're living in an alternative reality when we are great and winning. See their tweets during the match. Game can be shite and they will be tweeting about how great De Gea saves are anyway.

As an assistant manager, when my section and staff didn't work and profits fell, my position and the managers position became questionable. When I asked my staff what was happening, they replied they heard a rumour concerning a comment I was supposed to have made but didn't. Then we cleared the air and the profits came back twofold. Point being, if the staff don't want to work for you, they will underperform and cost you your job. I think yesterday is just another example of this, except JM has put himself in the firing line. Fans need to stop going to Old Trafford. I have given my gift of exec tickets back to the original owner because I do not want to be there if JM is still at the helm.

To be fair, they’ll only be following orders from the Social Media manager. They can’t exactly tweet out “We know we’re shite at the moment but Jose will be gone soon, just hang in there Reds. Here is a photo of Phil Jones in his Xmas sweater.”

So, Leicester who lost their 2 best players from recent years, have spent a fraction of what we have, started yesterday with Morgan and one of our castoffs at CB, have a manager deemed not good enough for Southampton and have had a personal crisis to deal with. This team ladies and gentlemen is a point behind us. Yet some on here will defend Jose that he didn’t get fecking Perisic and Maguire. Dear god. Perspective.

It would be a treat to let a random fan run the twitter during matches. Like fanzone.

I wonder what the Roma admin would be doing if they’re in this situation

Yeah I understand the point. I just become too annoyed during the game by performance and then go to twitter and thinks from their tweets the team is great and just wonder what the hell I was watching them. Maybe I need to not enter Twitter after matches.

Yeah it does wind up the fans, I agree with you. They’d be best not tweeting anything until it cools down but they can’t really do that.

It’s a lose-lose situation for the twitter account at the moment. They’re supposed to promote the club and get people going to matches and spending cash but the fans have had enough.

A huge dark cloud will lift when Palpatine fecks off.

Stick the fork in him, he's done. Let him join Inter next year and give him his hefty pay-off.

That cnut Woodward is probably not going to sack him until it's mathematically impossible for us to get into Top 4, it's due to his own making we'll have to pay his salary for another year. Shambles from top to bottom, we strongly need a change at board room level, or we'll find ourselves in same situation in another 2 years time.

Surely, there is someone out there who can do better with this lot?

Obligatory, would you take Wenger over Mourinho rn?

As a care-taker until end of the season? In a heartbeat.

On full-time basis, heck no. He's been finished for a while.
