Painful from England - 2 goals down after 25 minutes. England have most of the possession but are doing nothing with it.

Spain beat Portugal 7-1 in the other match in the group.

I'm not really understanding the setup tonight. Alessia Russo and Lauren James are injured. But that doesn't really explain why Nikita Parris is playing up front or why Aggie Beaver Jones isn't.

Ella Toone has been benched tonight and admittedly didn't look great last week - but I reckon we're going to need a bit of a super sub performance from her tonight.

No point taking about the defence. We haven't got one.

And going by the substitutions on Friday - MLT and Turner don't even get in the top four centre-backs for Wiegman.
It’s the fact that she doesn’t even see MLT as a centre back - a position where she excels on a weekly basis - which baffles me

Should have made the Agyemang substitution much earlier.
Carter should always start ahead of Charles.
Not sure what more Le Tissier can do to get into this team.

England lost because of Wiegman’s stubbornness when it comes to picking her defence. I think that’s going to be a problem as long as she’s manager.

Not good enough again. Disappointing stuff after a couple of promising looking performances against Spain and Belgium. Better in the second half than the first.

Hands the nations league group back to Spain. It's hard to see us as serious contenders for this summer's Euros at the moment.

Not sure why Wiegman has so much faith in her defensive choices, but then tonight wasn't her finest hour generally.

Forgot to say amidst the gloom - that was a hell of a debut goal from Michelle Agyemang about a minute after she came on as sub.

It is pretty strange at this point that the best CB pairing (least goals conceded) in the WSL dont get a look in for England even from the bench

The value of the big win against Spain has been thrown away with this loss and also that draw with Portugal

I suppose Lionesses still have the group in our hands but it's going to need another win against Spain
