We have problems at LCB, LWB and even the inside left channel.

What do we have in the squad to apply a band aid until the transfer windows open?
 
Dalot just doesn't work on the left. It's not his fault really. We need a left-footed player for that side urgently. It's not going to be Shaw or Malacia.

We’re severely compromised at LCB; you need mobility and pace as well as strong reading of the game and decision making. Shaw was the guy for the role, for me, but he is not reliable. Martinez gets exposed badly there, and then it’s a sliding scale - we’re going to get attacked relentlessly down that flank as we’re weak at every position down it, and if you isolate the LCB, we’re genuinely screwed.

I’d imagine we’d bring Alvaro back in January due to the low but back clause and alongside that I’d play Amass as he’s perfect for a left wing back role and it’ll cover his current defensive frailties, in the summer bring in Inacio to play as left sided centre back
