ManUtd.com's open letter to the Daily Mirror...

Dear Sirs,

On Tuesday 19 November, your "football experts" produced the "probable" scenario that Manchester United would now be seventeen points behind Arsenal in the Premiership, having drawn against Newcastle, lost to Liverpool and lost to Arsenal.

In case you missed it, we actually won all the above games, and as a result are just three points behind Arsenal, and a point ahead of Liverpool, who you predicted we would trail by sixteen points at this stage.

Your headline read "Three games to finish Fergie," apparently also predicting that Sir Alex Ferguson would be out of a job by now and suggesting that the club were in "crisis".

Far be it from us to judge others at their work, but the crisis would seem to be closer to home, with your panel of football experts getting three big matches in a row completely wrong. Maybe the headline should have read, "Three games to finish the Mirror football experts' credibility."
"It is no exaggeration to suggest that their entire campaign could be over by December 11," you wrote. Three points off the League leaders and top of our Champions League group. Sounds far from over to us.

"They are, at best, the third best team in England," you claim. Tell that to Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal - all convincingly beaten in the last three weeks.

Now you and your tabloid brethren are writing off Arsenal's title chances, even with the Gunners still top of the League. You don't learn, do you?

But, please. Keep writing us off. We triumph in adversity. We like proving the doubters wrong.

Yours sincerely,

ManUtd.com

I bold my favorit part of the article..
