Congrats to Leinster on a great win over Leicster.. Superb!
I'm delighted for the likes of BOD, Shane Horgan, Leo Cullen......well done!

Irish rugby is without doubt the "Top-Dog" in the Northern Hemisphere at the moment. Just look at the stats....

(1)Current Grand Slam champs (+ 3 triple crowns in the previous 4 years).

(2)Current European club Champs (Leinster), also previos champs (Munster)....... vast majority of players on both teams are Irish.

(3)Current Celtic Lge (Ire,Sco & Wales) Champs(Munster) & previous ( Leinster).

Yet, on a previous thread here predicting the squad for " The Lions", quite a few posters were only giving the Irish 3, 4 or 5 places in a squad of 36. Given, 4 nations to pick from, then the average per nation = 9 !........ Thankfully, Ian McGeechan & co. got it fairly right!

Win one of those and maybe I'll be impressed.

It was a fantastic match yesterday. Sexton and O'Driscoll were brilliant. That was some drop goal in the first half by Sexton. Jamie Heaslip really looks like he will become a top class world class player. Cian Healy looks like a great prospect as well. Leinster need to do their best to keep Rocky though. He was immense yesterday.

At the minute when you look at international and club level it is clear that Irish Rugby is currently in the ascendency in the Northern hemisphere. Still miles away from challenging NZ, SA, and the Aussies I reckon though....

Lenister were blessed there at the end

Your man should have got that last drop goal attempt

29-28 to lenister, Final score

Biarritz - Ospreys a one point game with the Ospreys in possession with the time up...looked like they had a pen, but not given and missed a difficult drop goal to win it. Another fantastic game.

Leinster lost to Toulouse today so there goes the possibility of an all Irish final, hopfully Munster will do better against Biarritz tomorrow

A year is a long time im sport!

The French are definitely the top dogs in Northern-Hemi now.
Grand Slam champs & an all-French Heineken cup final to come ( also a french team involved in Amlin cup final).
No doubt about it, Munster & Leinster were beaten by 2 better French teams!

Great match...unbelievable turnaround by Leinster. Northampton looked a broken team at the end after a dominating first half.

Unbelievable match, would have gone if I wasn't working all weekend helping fans get over to Wales. The turnaround in the second half was incredible, if the cliche "a game of two halfs" suits any match than its this one.

Leinster managed to play possibly their worst half of rugby all season, certainly since very early in the season, and then followed it up with probably their best half of the season. How Leinster went from being destroyed in the scrum in the first to driving the Northampton scrum back in the second despite only one change from Leinster and none from Northampton is a bit of an anomaly to me. Great performance from the whole team but particularly Sexton and in the second half Heaslip and O'Brien.

In my opinion Leinster deserved it because since early on in the season when they were only getting used to Schmidts tactics, they have been an absolute machine. They play great attacking rugby now as opposed to the more defensive mentality that saw them win in 09'. Definitely the best team in Europe this year.

Has to be well up there with the best when it comes to sports greatest come backs. Leinster were dead & buried at half time. Cracking game of rugby & definitely a game of two halves! Well done Leinster.

Fantastic game..I didn't have any nails left to bite! Watched it with a few old schoolmates and we were all backing Leinster to win, glad they managed to pull it out of the second half and Sexton is a LAD.

Everyone on my facebook has decided to start giving a shit about Rugby so I gather that Ulster have made it to the final.
