so with Vaughan now pencilled in for the ODI job what are everyone else's thoughts?

he won't make much difference with the bat if recalled but will his mere prescence make a difference? he has now captained the only side to win in australia this winter after all.

also, should Fred be persevered with for the next two Tests?

or is it time to chalk it up and bring back Strauss?

tbh, i wanted Strauss from the beginning and nothing has happened to change my mind.
 
I don't see the point of keeping Flitntoff on as captain, even for the rest of this series.
 
Well, we need someone with charisma. It's too late now, but I'd have love to have seen Boycott in charge
 
Warnie is the best Captain Australia never had. Doubt he would be interested given how much dosh Channel 9 are paying him.

I agree with you, should be Strauss, Vaughan's lack of practice is going to make him something of a passenger.
