Grammy awards are just crap. It's all hype. There are plenty of electronic music artists and vocalists out there who are far better than most of the winners.

They don't win any awards because they don't release their songs through record labels like Sony, Virgin, Universal like big record labels. These awards are for promoting some of their artists.

As you can see from that list there's only one category for all electronic music genres : Electronic/Dance Album. That's all.

I just watched some of that grammy shit yesterday, I must say Kanye West is the biggest idiot who ever lived on this planet. Wearing those silly white shades he looked like a retard who just escaped from an institution. And if there is a rule that every "artist" has only 30 seconds to say his or her thank you's before they start playing some annoying background music, than stick to that regulation and just shut the feck up! Not Kanye, because that prick has so much to say and so little time. Like a pussy he almost started crying "you gonna play music over it? you gonna play the music over me?" Yes you ignorant bastard, just shut your mouth and piss off that stage!

again, look at the record labels, of most of his albums :Warner brothers, Columbia, PolyGram/Mercury, Verve Records (Jazz record labe lowned by Universal), Blue note reocrds(Jazz record labe lowned by EMI)

They are all bigtime record labels. And He's famous, because of the popularuty of these companies.
