Good CD, The Game can bring it, one of the best rappers I've heard

Don't like him much. Got tired of listening about 'Dre,' his 'gun;' I'm pretty sure he's confused over how many pounds of weed he was shot over; 'chrome' 'six-fo'

YAWN

I think his flow is great, it's pleasant to listen to. "Hate or Love It" is one of my favorite songs ever

The Documentary was brilliant, I loved that. Then for me he just went downhill. Released upteen mixtapes and in the end I'm bored of him. His voice just sounds like noise to me that talks about nothing significant.

Part of verse one from LAX Files:

Come to my hood (hood)
Look at my block (block)
that's that project building, yeah that's where I got shot (shot)
Cause I was more hood than Suge
Had more rocks than Jay
More scars in my face than the original Scarface
Or the homeboy Scarface
Al Pacino couldn't be no gangsta
Deniro in casino he no gansta
Wanna be, wanna see, wanna get a shovel, dig tookie up nigga
Cause he know gangstas
Niggas think cause they watch menace a couple times

Just look at how many names he drops!!

Yeah the Documentary is probably the best rap album released this decade, it's hard to top, even for him

Just look at how many names he drops!!

Very good album though. One of the best releases this year. I'd give it an 8/10

Would you rather him use the N word. Also the song "Money" is brilliant

Game is decent enough. Nothing great though and he's not even close to be as good as he himself seems to believe.

Well pathetic how he nowadays, seems desperate to start a beef with Jay-Z.

Does the guy really have so little confidence in his album release doing the job on it's own that he has to start some "trouble" with Hova?...

I've listen to a couple of the tracks I was looking forwards to and some's good, some's not...

Favourite of the few ones I've heard off youtube is definitely money. Top tune.

I was looking forwards to 'Angel'. Kanye with the beat and Common on the track is usually a foolproof formula.

Must say I was disappointed. The beat was horrible. It appears that Kanye West may have some trouble giving his beat to the "right" rappers. Wasn't really a Game track that, and he did it on The Carter III as well. A shame really.

'House of Pain' sounds like it could've been the theme song to Ghostbusters...

That's basically all the songs I've heard so far, will check the rest out though.

I was under the impression that Just Blaze was going to sort out a beat for this one? Was well disappointed to see his name missing from the producer's credits. My favourite producer and all...

The Game is awesome IMO....the album is very good.
Not sure why everyone has issues with him name-dropping, maybe his style?

i love the game. i hate today's hip hop, but i like the game. i was gonna buy LAX, but forgot. thanks for reminding me to pick it up

The Game is part of what's wrong with today's hiphop.

in some ways. i just enjoy listening to him. sick of all these dirty south songs, and club-bangers on the radio every freakin day. cool voice, tight beats, still name-drops too much but still creative

The Game is part of what's wrong with today's hiphop.

That would actually be someone like Lil Wayne more than the Game. Also, I said earlier The Documentary was one of the best rap albums of the decade, have to put the Marshall Mathers LP over it though

Lil Wayne is quality. I blame the other dirty south rappers for ruining hip hop.

Yeah this is some real shit coming out of the dirty south, Wayne does have some good songs but he releases everything so you get some good ones and some shit ones

I just feel he hasn't progressed much as a rapper. Talks about the same old things: weed, hoes, cars, jewellery. I find him boring to listen to.

That doesn't really answer the question.

For him to be a part of something which is wrong with hip hop, surely he must do something which helps destroying it.

The fact that you're bored of him is hardly a valid point.

Infact, the general sentiment out there is that he's the one who brought the west coast back..

Perhaps because he's commercialised a lot? Kinda like Jay-Z.

Commercialised a lot?

Has he really done more than sort out his Hurricane sneakers?

Even Nas has gone down that road...

Or are you talking musically? If so, well he started off with 50 Cent. Can hardly get more commercialised than that...

so what would have people rather that The Game have done? Not signed a record deal? Would have been a legend (or very good) then?

so what would have people rather that The Game have done? Not signed a record deal? Would have been a legend (or very good) then?

Not being a fan of The Game is more than fair enough. I'm not his biggest fan myself.

Saying he's a part of what's wrong with hip hop is ridiculous and makes no sense.

Pretty good album. I liked Lax files, Money and Let us live in particular.

Talks a fair amount of shit though doesn't he. But I don't really pay attention to rap lyrics most of the time anyway.

not The Game, but 'new' rappers generally, the Eminem's, Jay-z's, Lil Wayne's, etc etc...(not that I am a huge fan of all), but I don't understand what everyone's problem seems to be with them these days...

His second single from the Red Album is fecking sick

The Game is best rapper alive for me

Thought his 'singles' so far are pretty poor ('Big Money' and 'Krazy') - but glad he's back in the studio with Dr Dre...
