Ok

We've seen Ruud score his first goal from open play and Forlan score his 1st goal. Both have been reminded of the reaction their fans give when that ball crosses that line. Needless to say Diego will have phoned his family to tell them he has scored his 1st goal for United (He's bleedin human after all). He'll be over the moon.

What differences can we expect ?

Discuss :)

ruud to score his first open play goal in the premiership. forlan to score his first open play goal in the premiership. both would be nice.

;) Coolio !

Now, on to someone who understands the word "ELABORATION"

I truly hope that this to be the big confidence boost. We are not such a bad team as we showed in the first six matches of the new season. We just need the confidence and the sharpness in front of goal to return. We need to start getting points now in the PL and hope we can start to do it from this weekend.

I'll tell ya something I was so happy when Forlan scored last night because I have been backing him since he came to Old Trafford. All the lads I watch the United games with slag me cuz they think he's muck  - so when he scored I got a fleat of text messages re forlan's goal. I know it was a penalty and not open play, but I really do hope now that his luck turns around. Everything in his game (bar his inability to put one past the keeper) is exelent. He has great vision, great 1st touch, is very fast and hopefully now will score goals !

I have a horrible feeling we might come back down to earth with a bump. But on the other hand with no new injury worries and Gaz on the way back things are looking up.
Anything from 2-0 upwards will be a great result.
Spurs are full of confidence. And won't be coming to defend. They will try to make a game of it, this could go in our favour. We seem to struggle against teams who come to defend.
That was the one point that impressed me about Maccabi, they knew they were outclassed before they stepped on the pitch but they tried to make a game of it. They deserve a lot of credit for that, much bigger European Teams have come to Old Trafford and just tried to spoil the game. Maccabi didn't
