Hated by some, but here is the table since we signed Fernandes (14 matches).

Didn't we have an Ole table last year? How did it end?
 
If finishing over 30 pts behind was not enough embarrassing enough , some of the threads here are getting increasingly so

And before anyone says it , I could not give two fooks who else finished over 30 pts behind them. All I care is that we did.
 
Just love Bruno, was excited when we got him and was hoping for great things but he has been the best player in the league since arriving at OT,.

I fancy he is the catalyst to not only push us on but I think he will help attract the talent too, he's that exciting and shows we are going in the right direction- up the table.

Top 3 minimum next year, maybe higher if Pep or Klopp do one.

This is embarrassing! oh wait, not that word again. It just shows how poorly run we where when we had the chance to sign the player and we didn't.
I think even Ole did not show enough enthusiasm to sign the player too when the season started. He had his sights set on Grealish and Maddison, hence why the January transfer took forever.

Obviously we were not sure about him , in fact Spurs came closest to signing him during the summer and they were not sure either that he could transfer what he done in Portugal to the Premier league. They must be really kicking themselves.

We are lucky we go a 2nd chance in January and we were a bit desperate. But that is the way it works , he could have flopped as well as we have seen with other players who have a big name in a smaller league and move to a much bigger club.

But so far he looks tailor made for the big time and could turn out to be one of the best bits of business we have done for many years.

Being only two points ahead of Arsenal ain’t that uplifting.
 
They might have won the actual one for once, but I'd still much rather leave the alternative league tables to RAWK, please.

Sheffield Utd, Spurs, City, Everton, Watford, Chelsea, Wolves for us. 5 out of 7 teams in top 10.

vs

Southampton, Brighton, West Ham, City, Everton, Newcastle, Burnley for Arsenal. Only City in the top 10.

I'm not understanding this table? Is "7" how many games we've played, "12-2" goals for and against, and "15" our points? We are 5 wins and 2 ties so that would be 17 points. Or am I just reading this all wrong???
 
We can manufacture tables as per whatever criteria and still can't get top.

You are reading the table right, but we drew 3 games in the league (Wolves, Everton, Tottenham) - so 4 wins and 3 draws = 15 points.
 
This thread also proves there are many who can are adept at taking the negatives out of a positive.

The uplift in the team since Bruno's arrival is staggering! I can't tank him enough for the joy he brought back to my match days.

I always wondered how come for certain teams, even bad ones, sometimes one player makes such a difference and brings the whole team to another level, thank God it has finally happened to us. If we manage to add Sancho for next season this will be the best team assembled since 08/09. Good days ahead fellas GGMU!
 
Let's just refer to all football before his arrival as Before Bruno, BB.

Who cares about RAWK. See this as a tribute to Fernandes and the lift in form since his arrival.

Look at Leicester, though. 8 points behind in 7 games. Now there are 7 games left, we´re 6 points behind, they have a much harder fixture, and we even have Pogba and Rashford back. Say no more, say no more.

Forgot about the Wolves game and could only remember the Everton and Tottenham games as ties and knew we didn't lose any
 
The difference he has made is amazing. The way he's settled in is unheard of really. It's almost as if he's been playing for us for years.

I don't want to criticize Lingard and Periera too much, simply because they're United players and I know the two work their balls off for the club. However, it's clear they are nowhere near Bruno in every single way. In less games, Bruno has made the same or more assists than Periea and Lingard, respectively. Has more passes per game, more key passes, more through balls, more shots - the lot.

It's a massive shame we didn't buy him at the start of the season. By no means are we the finished article, but I think we'd have been a shoe in for top four if we bought Bruno in the summer.

If it is used to justify poor play in 2019-20, I couldn't agree more.

If it is used to show that the future's bright, I don't.

Anyway one looks at it, finishing 30 points behind the league winner is a lousy performance.
