The FA cup...As United fans how do we work this one out?

I don't really care - but I'd like to see City go thru so we can maybe put them out.

Normally I'd want the better team(the greater threat to us) to get knocked out.

But just who is that in this case??

;)

I agree with nh1878, I hate them both but I detest them blue cnuts.

Don't give a toss as long as there are about 8 broken legs and 6 players sent off and they throw both of the bastards out of the competition.

I don't see it as an irrelevane at all. Only because a win for KK and the Maine Road Massive could impact on the Gypsy's Prem form. It couldn't get much worse I hear you sniggering, but let's not get carried away. In the bigger picture, any knock to scouse confidence is worth a few weeks of "City in Europe" clap-trap.
It's why I'm glad United have drawn Chelsea in the Worthy Cup. They are a confidence is everything team. 3 points might not be at stake, but a United win would bring Chelsea's good run to a timely juddering halt and most likely affect their Prem form.
Little things I know, but I think they can matter in the long run.

Who cares

Lilipond for me.

just to increase their fixtures so as to distract them from their league performances. what a kick i would have if i were to see them finishing below everton. :D

or maybe miss out on the champs' league altogether. having said all ***, they might not be able to get a champs' league place even without the distraction

Dream Scenario
We beat the Dippers in the final to complete a memorable quadrouple season

I lived in Birkenhead for ten years, never lived in Manchester. I hated Liverpool and Everton equally but more than City. Put me down for a massive win.

City to be granted safe passage to the final where we can give them the biggest kicking the t**ts have ever had. As Socal said, the higher the Massive's build themselves up the further they have to fall and our revenge coming in denying them a trophy, hopefully as we lift a few, would be the final nail in the coffin of this equality the bitters allude to.

Besides, the scousers in the FA Cup Final is too easy a prospect given their past record against us :p

City v United at Maine Rd in the 4th Round to put the record straight would be excellent, so I'm with the Massives for this game

I hope that through some strange quirk of fate both get knocked out. Whoever goes through will go out in the next round anyways

I'll go for a massive meteor to hit Maine Rd and finish every bastard off (apart from Schmikes who escapes with a few scrapes and bruises)

Answer me one question; when you get the weekend Prem results, what brings a bigger smile to your face...City losing or Liverpool losing?
For me, and I was born in Salford and have followed United since the Dave Sexton era, it will always be the Gypsies for me...that is my derby, my nemesis...the team I still love to hate the most.
They are local, but obviously a different tribe.
City by comparison are perverse...some kind of inverted backward, banjo playing wonky glasses wearing near cousin we don't like to talk about much, but sure to show us up once every generation.
Geography is key in this, but it's not the only factor of course.
The avenue that leads you to United might be just a walk around the corner or a deep-vein thrombosis flight half way across the World. For most of us however, it's somewhere inbetween, and we all bring our own local rivalries into the United mix.
History matters of course...but it's hard to keep a rivalry alive if you are not even competing at the same level season after season with your neighbours.
City,Keegan are still nothing more than a local irritation. But we owe them at least the wake-up call this season.
I'm rambling...the point is City are ultimately irrelevant and Liverpool are more of a threat.
So a City win for me. Natural selection will run it's course anyway...Bloody United jaws optional.

It would be nice to see some sort of bung affair or some MASSIVE fight leading to the FA expelling both the useless cnuts.

sounds like a classic ciddy song ***

If the scouse twats lose it should snatch whatever shreds of confidence and dignity they have left, burn said shreds, and piss on the ashes. All leading, of course, to poo's relegation.
