Saw them last year, great gig. Love Lost Souls. Listen to it regularly still.

Neutral Milk Hotel. They probably aren't actually underrated, loads of people that hear them will agree they're brilliant. It's kind of difficult to decide what's underrated.

In the Aeroplane over the Sea (the album) is so good.
