With the open beta starting over next day or so on all platforms I thought I'd make a separate thread for people to group up. Just post your platform ID and whether you use a mic or not and I'll add to the OP. For people on PS4 I will be creating a text chat on there and adding people to it so just post in there when you're on and group up via party with other caftards.

Won't be buying the PC version as the caf crew seems to a PS4 majority.

Can anyone play the beta or do you need an invite?

Happy that you will be on the PS4, but sorry for you that you won't be able to install a mod turning your character into someone you can more closely relate to / fantasise about.

what's the story with steam and uPlay? Assume you can play with people on the other platform?

cdkeys seem to have uPlay keys so that's probably what I'll be on.

I'll be on the PC with m'boy Karl, hopefully.

Not doing beta though.

uPlay: CinaRC

Me, you, Brocky and Vato. There's your squad right there.

UPlay is Ubisofts version of Steam for Ubi games, like EA Origin etc so the game would play through that. You can add non Steam games to Steam so that your Steam friends can see when you launch the game. The game isn't played on a particular platform as such, it's just a different system that your game is stored on and launched through. You'll be on the same server as all other PC players.

You can. The grouping is platform specific.

Incidentally, despite buying the game through Steam, it'll still require the Uplay client and will run it once you run the game.

Ps4: scottyj17

Mic: yes

The day you can change account names without losing trophies though that decker is going

yeah I know about uPlay.

It's annoying having all these fecking platforms at times.

Actually sounds like uPlay is the easier & cheaper option, then.

It doesn't make any difference where you get it from so just go with the cheaper option. If you go with UPlay it has its own friends list, so you just add people to that and just add it to Steam as a non Steam game so that your Steam friends can see you playing it.

So is the idea to form squads already, or do you just change and form new ones depending who is online each time?

If it's the first, then happy to re-form the CM team

@Levo @Big-Red @DatIrishFella

Squads are not permanent, so it's whoever is online at the time. It's basically the same as the Battlefield squad system. You're not restricted to people on a list either, you can walk up to a random in the dark zone and invite them to your squad.

Think there is a system in place for clans and such later. No clue how that works yet.

Cool. Hopefully we get 1 or 2 more PC gamers, can't rely on all 4 of us to always be on at once.

It's probably worth mentioning that joining up on PSN parties might not be the best idea. The in-game comms has proximity chat, which will definitely help in the DZ....although I guess it'll also be annoying at times and depends on how well it works.

Cheers for that!

If I can get it for dirt cheap a month or so after on G2A or CDkeys I might double dip. Better frame rate is always an enticing reason to.
