Was going to ask in the movie review thread but it would get lost.

So Caftards what’s on the must watch list over the holiday season?

I’ll make a start

Die Hard
Home Alone
Elf
Jingle All The Way
Scrooged
It’s A Wonderful Life
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
A Nightmare Before Christmas

Most of those but we usually throw in Deck the halls which has a terrible imdb rating but I quite enjoy it.

Oh and Krampus of course to balance out the cheer.

I would take Home Alone off the list. Watched it last year, for the first time in whatever how many years, its really fecking bad.

The Harry potter films are a must (Especially the first one).
Die Hard
Home Alone

They are pretty much the only ones worth watching..... Maybe Miracle on 34th street.

No, the appalling child performances from the HP series is enough for me to never go near them again.

Miracle on 34th Street (old)
Home alone 1 & 2
Four weddings and a funeral
Hangover 1
Arsenic and old lace
Honey I shrunk the kids

Daughter made 2nd thanksgiving dinner last week and we watched the stop motion Christmas movies after it.

Santa Claus is coming to town.

Kids are hooked on the new one on netflix, 'that christmas' it's actually not as bad as I feared

A few I haven't seen mentioned:

The Snowman
Any Wallace & Gromit movies
In Bruges

A new W&G film is out over Christmas I think. That should do well.

Excellent.

One of my favourite feelings in the world is sitting beside the fire, stuffed to the gills after Christmas dinner, chuckling quietly at those plasticine eijits and slowly drifting off to sleep.
