This movie looks like it is going to own 2008!

I can't wait to see Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Chris Nolan did an awesome job with Batman Begins and i'm positive that this movie is gonna be even better.
 
When i found out Schumacher was taking over the directing duty for Batman Forever i was reasonably pleased. Being a fan of the Lost Boys and its dark edge i was sure he was the right man for the job.

How wrong i was! In the space of 2 movies he turned the character into a joke!

Thank God for Nolan is all i can say.
 
Christian Bale is simply a great Batman... even better than Michael Kitton, IMO.

Batman Beggins was full of my favourite actors: Bale, Freeman, Neeson and Oldman...

Simply big thanks to Nolan and his crew for creating surprisingly the best version of Batman. Can't wait for the second movie.
 
It's going to be quite excellent.Unless I'm very much mistaken, isn't Ryan Phillipe playing Two-Face?Or is it Aaron Eckhart?
 
I remember when Denzel Washington played a knight in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Christian Bale has said recently that Ledger is going to steal the whole movie.

Just don't expect a Jack Nicholson Joker in the Nolan Batman world.

This joker is going to be a homicidal maniac with a very dark side.

I remember the shit hitting the fan prior to Batman '89 amongst fans over Michael Keaton being cast as Batman. 'To fat, to short and to funny' were comments made prior to the films release about Keaton. Look how that turned out, Keaton was awesome.

Trust in Nolan. I'm sure Ledger will be excellent.
 
Replacing Katie Holms with Maggie Gyllenhaal is also a very smart decision.

Fixing the one thing that was broken.

Agreed. Katie Holmes was terrible in Batman Begins. Replacing her with a fine actress like Maggie Gyllenhaal rather than a playboy model is a sign that Nolan really cares about the quality of this movie.

I don't think Nolan will go that dark with the Joker. He'd be a bland character if they just made him a cold bloded killer and removed all element of humour from him. I'm hoping he's somewhat reminiscent of the one from the animated series because he always my favorite villan as a kid.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was cast only because Katie Holmes refused to sign.

Having said that, this movie is going to kickass. I love the look of The Joker. I wish the movie would release sooner.

I'm gradually becoming more convinced that Ledger might do a good job.:)

PS: He does look abit like Brando as Kurtz(sp).
 
This has the potential to be the greatest superhero move ever.

Batman begins was quality, great story and even better direction, finally we had a batman who was dark, tough, angry and a loner.

Add to that great combo his nemesis and not only that but a fantastic story unfolding at the end with birth of two face (who is my fav bad guy and portrayed horibly in a previous film)

Only doubt I had was heath ledger who i thought might be too much of a nice guy to pay the joker who is a psycotic crazy mofo and evil in every sence of the word. But hes getting some pretty decent reviews even this early on

cant wait for this film
