Wow, that's well cool. I've always felt that the series went downhill after she left, it kind of went to over the top, but hey, it's still an awesome program.
 
Yeah, I see what you mean. She was kind of the pragmatic one, kept a little bit of realism. Haven't watched it in years, but I still get the feeling that if I watched it tomorrow I'd have a sly laugh
 
I signed up with 'Love Film' to get these on boxset rental, sadly they're bloody useless and can't find my house. Used to watch Brittas religiously as a kid, I thought it was hillarious. Barrie could do no wrong back then, he can't really now but he's less oft seen, bar for things about steam trains

Cool thing about Julia, Jiggs. And yes, wasn't quite the same after she left, but then again I don't remember it running too much longer?
