A substandard bag of meat and bones.
Did anyone catch this on FX?

'In this psychological drama a mysterious man sits at the booth at the end of a diner.

People come to him with things they want: a parent with a sick child, a woman who wants to be prettier, a nun who wants to hear god again.
The man can make these things happen. For a price. In exchange for what they want, these individuals must sacrifice their morals and do deeds normally inconceivable to them.

Set off a bomb. Rob a bank. Kill a child. They must return to the man and describe every step in detail.

As the characters' tasks begin to overlap, complications ensue. But the man never forces anyone to do anything. It's always up to them to start or stop
with one lingering question: how far would you go to get what you want?'

Yeah it is. Very cleverly done and intriguing. It's only 5 half hour episodes and I'm halfway through the 4th. It seems there is another series under production.

Xander Berkeley who plays 'the man' is excellent in it.

Nice one.

I need to download... er... watch some decent late night telly to pass the time while bottle-feeding the nipper.

Only 5 episodes? How come the website says the latest episode is episode 62?
