Today's Daily Mail.....
Matt Lawton "Ferguson boast is way off target"
This guy drips with hatred of United.....My wife buys the paper for the x words and I chanced to read it today. Jeeessuss this guy wants his balls chopping off.
His email is m.lawton@dailymail.co.uk
Can I suggest we email him and tell him to go boil his head?
Listen to this:
"Ferguson's suggestion last Monday that his team had performed badly only twice this season was until yesterday among the more outrageous claims in recent memory.
That however did not compare to his verdict on a win that owed as much to the blundering Dudek as it did to the quality of football at Anfield yesterday.......
....if this was United's best then their chances of seeing off the challenge of Arsenal at OT this coming Saturday would appear to be very remote indeed.
United were poor yesterday, more disappointing perhaps than when losing to Pool in their previous 4 league encounters.
.... a lack of fluency in their passing and an absence of any real ambition on an afternoon when it was claimed so much was at stake."

It goes on in this vein for 24 column inches. He also slags off the Pool: "It is for that reason that United should consider themselves fortunate because in Liverpool they met a team who at this moment are producing football that is even inferior to their own."

All I can say is this guy must have spent the whole match drinking free booze in the bar......
before biting the hand that got him pissed senseless.

Even then He can't have missed the passion, the uproar the singing, What a bloody tosser!

If you agree fill the Bastard's email with shite!

Actually,I think his assessment is spot on.At best all you Mancs deserved yesterday was a draw and if Dudek hadn't blundered then maybe he wouldn't have been so limp wristed at trying to prevent Forlan's second goal. The only bright spots for you were G Neville and OGS.I thought Giggs was poor and so was RVN (who never seems to cut it in the big games). So ,a fortunate win really, hardly convincing.I think we'll get at least a point at OT saturday and probably beat you. :D

Full of shite is that, how can RVN only score against lesser oposition when 52 goals in 67 games suggests otherwise? He has also scored against just about every team in Europe that United have played.

We deserved our win yesterday as we wanted it more than Poo', in fact you they were taught a lesson in 'wanting it'.

The fact is that both the Mail and Mirror are banned from OT at the moment and they print nothing but negative stuff because of this.

Mail and Mirror banned at OT ??.....my God ...what paranoia

RVN may have scored a lot of goals, but against whom ,exactly??Not us,not the Scousers...tell me what top teams he has scored against ??..and I don't mean Basel!..Frankly,he goes missing all too often in the big games.

Then what a great striker he is if he can go missing against Leverkusen and still score 2...

He HAS scored against Liverpool. Charity Shield last season. When they were arguably better than they were yesterday.

Don't forget umpteen goals against Deportivo last season. A team you had some problems with as I recall.

Not to mention Chelsea and Newcastle.

Bloody WUM.

I have just sent the e-mail address m.lawton@dailymail.co.uk to a really cool place now Mr. Lawton will be able to enlarge his breasts and balls 40 times a day. :D

Cant we just ignore that sad man Gillespie , he is a bit of an irritant ...is there an arse site ? cant be much good if he feels he has to spend so much time in the caff

RvN scored against who, and not Basel?
BAYERN, DEPOR, BAYER, CHELSEA, NEWCASTLE (he's scored against all the big teams we've come up against in CL so far which isn't that many, can't fault him for that).
He couldn't do alot better than this except for scoring against Liverpool and you lot (you're setting yourself for a fall if he scores against you lot this week) can he? Not to forget he's only played 1.5 games against you, bit quick to fire that filthy mouth of yours off eh?

You can take Newcastle, Bayer and Depo off your list as those teams are erratic and are not considered the top three in their respective nations. So the only teams of note are Bayern and possibly, just possibly, Chelsea (even then Chelsea aren't top three here either!).

OK, so its not his fault that Manyoo haven't faced Real, Barca, Juve, Valencia, etc, yet but I'm sure RVN has faced Arsenal and Liverpool on many, many occasions. Net result? One goal in a charity match. Hardly Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry or even Michael Owen status yet.

He's been here not even 2 seasons and he's only faced Arsenal twice in which once was as a sub (end of last season), so he didn't face on "many manÿ occasions". Didn't he only face pool thrice (one was the charity match)? Exxaggerating a bit here aren't you?
Oh and Depor are erratic whenever Ruud scores against them and are world class when Henry fails twice to do anything of note again this crap side? Right... Fact is, we met Depor when they were on form, beating the likes of Real, Arsenal and us (during group stage) and Ruud scored against them in this period of glory.

when RVN scored against Depor they were considered the best side in spain.. he also scored against Bayern, who probably had the best defence in Europe.

the only 'top' team he hasn't scored against is Arsenal... iam sure he will this weekend..

bitter cnuts.

I for one shan't be buying the Mirror or Mail while they remain ABU. I suggest others do the same.

you are one feckin cnut who's full of shite <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Who cares how we played, the only thing that matters is the fact that went to Anfield, with half of our first team missing, an inexperienced backline and a bench that was so extremely thin, and we beat them. It don't matter RVN didn't score, it must suck to be a scouser right now. At some point in the game, you had Owen,Heskey,Baros and Diof in the game, and it took one of your defenders to score a goal that had handball written all over it. The claim is that if Doodie didn't watch the ball go through his legs then we would not have won, maybe, but we sure as hell didn't ask him to sit on his arse and let the ball go behind him. We have heard enough of Fabian's blunders, its about time someone else got a taste of it. So onwards to Arse, well once again RVN might not score but that really doesn't matter because we will probably have Miki score the winner this time.

Well well i thought only Mr ARSE WANKER can display such arrogance. If only you can display a lil' bit of humility. Mark your words, we shall see on Sat.

What a load of bollocks. United looked likely to win for most of the game. Even when Poo had the ball the looked unlikely to find their way past our defense.

Paranoia ?? Could have something to do with their reports on Sir Alex and the SA incident. The Mirror and Mail suggested Sir Alex was guilty. As they attempted to bite the hand that feeds them the hand has been withdrawn. Not paranoia, just common sense, simple common sense.

Common sense indeed. After reading Maddock in the mirror yesterday, they deserve feck all. Let them fight for the scraps.

James Lawton in the indipendent as well - theyre acting like we're a disgrace for shattering their little illusions about the mighty liverpool being back in business.

So who are better than Deportivo in La Liga then? Valencia, yes. Real maybe, although they don't replicate their European form as much in La Liga. Barca? You ARE joking, right? So come on, who?

Why aren't Deportivo considered one of the top three teams in their nation? They've finished in the top two in the Spanish league for the last three years

Well, RVN scored against Depor and Bayern -- both of which are far better (and certainly bigger) teams than your lot. How far did you get in the CL last season again? remind me.

RVN never scores in big games?

Does that mean that we've never played any big games since he arrived?

I believe it's 52 goals in 67 games, sounds pretty good to me...

Better than my namesake in fact... :D ...

He didn't play great tonight either but what's the betting that he scores against the Gooners on saturday...
