I'll admit, he has been frustrating since we know what he IS capable of and I've done my fair share of swearing at the TV screen because of him, but I for one will be thoroughly disappointed if he's not back in a United shirt next season! It'd make him a quitter!
I think this team could be the making of him. He's got the skill, we can give him the grit. I will give him the utmost respect if he stays and faces the music. If we get behind him like we did with Beckham after WC '98, he could come out the other side a potential European Player Of The Year.
This cannot be about him being a BAD footballer, that just isn't plausible, it has to be about him finding a MUTUAL love and respect for a club and its supporters. It's about giving him something to take pride in and FIGHT for!

I say, give us one more chance JSV and we'll be more than happy to reciprocate! Right?

I dont ever want to see him in a United shirt again.All he wants is to stay injury free for the world cup.Makes Taibi look a bargain.I rate Veron on par with Ted McDougal and Garry Birtles,other great United signings.I was so excited when he signed I thought wow this is special,and what have we seen.....nothing one game against Deportivo.He should be ahamed to pick his pay check up.I dont blame Ferguson and Im not pissed off about the result.....just Veron Twenty four million.

I agree, he was in my fantsy team day one but not for long. As much as I want to give him the benefit of the doubt I really don't see him fiting in a the prem. Let's face it not many south americans do...and in defence of that statement we have converted a lot more italians to do so but south amricans just play a totally different game.
