Just listening to these now for the first time ever, fecking great tunes, how in Gods name have I avoided these untill now?
no idea but you missed a treat cause live they were fecking outstanding...what you listening to? 3eps? easily their best cd...though the others are all worth a listen too even the 1 proper album which they themselves said shouldnt be bought cause its shit.
Id check out king biscuit time (steve masonb - lead singer of BB) and the aliens (rest of beta band with original BB member Gordan Anderson(lone pigeon))
Maybe you hadn't heard any of their tunes before, hence the reason you unknowingly avoided them.
Why do you even bother?![]()
I'll have you know I am a huge fan of Beta Band, I was just anwering (Albeit with a hint of sarcasm) your question.
Some people are so touchy.
Only with you, for some reason I don't care for you much.
Anyway you aren't derailing this thread like you do so many others so please keep it on topic.
Man I made a joke about a cat, get over it.
And to keep on topic like you say, my favourite album of theirs is Hot Shots II.
(And the only thread I have ever derailed is the Edmund Hilary one)
The cat has nothing to do with it, I'm not that petty.
Hot Shots you say, i'll check it out.
Dry the Rain is a fecking awesome tune (also used in the rather superb film High Fidelity)
You've got to check out The Aliens album RedNome. Astronomy for Dogs, one of the best albums of last year
