The best & the worst

The worst, definitely, is Wes. He was clumsy and insensitive today.

The best, it is hard to choose between Becks, with extremely outstanding return, and Veron - the playmaker. It was probably the best game that Veron has ever played for MU.

I would vote for Becks, for his sublime chip. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
And you???

Lay off Wes, he was alright! It wasnt his best game ever but he didnt put a foot wrong as such, we kept a clean sheet as well! Im not really in favor of picking a worst, maybe Scholesy because he looked lost on the left.

Best was not Beckham, sure he played ok but Veron was a far better player on the day.

And also don't forget Barthez, he has rescued us from a disastrous draw.

Becks and Veron were close. Both were fantastic in this match. Beckham had terrific work rate, more direct contribution and was always a threat at the front but Veron's passing and creativity were also very exciting and top class. I think Barthez, Veron and Beckham all deserved our praise.

Agreed. If there is to be a worst player, it'll be Scholes, not Brown. But Scholes just had an off-day, he has been great for many games.

the worst player was Scholes....but he just needs a bit of a rest!!!...best was Veron and Becks...both played magnificent....Keane also played much better (compared to the Boro game)

Funny how people see things differently. Two of the papers I read gave Scholes an 8.

Veron and Becks were excellent, but Keano was below par.

thought overall everyone played well, best was veron, if i had to pick a worst i think itd be solskjauer. From what i saw he didnt look in the game. No one played badly though, just ole was a bit disapointing. And to the cretin who said wes played badly, i have to disagree, he was his usual strong self i thought, reliable as usual, he wasnt clumsy, the fouls given against him were really un-fair, lay of the lad.

Just what is it with these United fans who can't spell the names of the players?

BTW did you know Ole is pronounced Oola, not Olay?
