The current spell that we are going through at the moment is the best since the treble win in 99 IMO.

To beat Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Depor and Basle so convincingly is a great achievement.

I think we have played more fluid football since the Treble. What I think is encouraging and refreshing about the last 4 big wins is the hunger and togetherness we have shown.
Time will tell, but I think we have the momentum and confidence to reclaim our Prem title and do big things in the Champions League.
What will be interesting is, how we maintain the drive and bring back the likes of Keane,Ferdinand, Blanc, Butt and Beckham.

seriously, bringing back the treble is highly probable the way we are playing and the prospect of bringing back the injured and no doubt our mighty captain's come back will only improve us further..... The only headache of course for the gaffer is, to play which players in which game and still keep the momentum. Like you, we are no Fergie, and his past track record tells us that 'HE WILL SORT IT OUT'!!! Seriously, i have (as i did in the past when people are calling for his head!!! )total faith and trust in him. Fact is, if he was not doing it right, it's not his fault! We just have too many good players to choose from, you know! Any formation and selection is bound to be pickked on once we have a slip or two!

IMO, the attitude of us is get behind the lads (if they are giving their full), get behind the gaffer (even if you dont agree with his selection or tactics, cos more likely than not, he has better vision than most or all of us!!) Sorry to sound daft, but he's a saint as far as i am concerned!! :)

Keep up the good work UNITED!!

Mood swings on this forum amaze me. A few weeks ago we were gonna win feck all, City were likely to finish above us, SAF had lost the plot & deserved to be sacked. Now we're a cinch for the treble. Naturally enough, neither position is true. Just like when we were crap 3 weeks ago, there's still a lot of football to be played against a lot of teams who are determined to beat us. We have good players, a great manager and every chance.

The fact of the matter is, when we were 9 points from the top, the chance of getting back is slighter than when we are, say, three points from the top, agree?? Please dont get me wrong, i am not those jumping on the bandwagon, but it's understandable the swing of mood!!! (and i cant understand why it amazes you when the fact in front of you is: there is a change of circumstances now as compared to say three weeks ago!)

I have to make it clear though, when we were not getting the result, i was (in lone voices) among those who are still keeping faith in the united manager and players, trusting them to resume normal service asap!!
