Figures. We're having to watch the bleeding portable cos the new one hasn't arrived.
Sounded like the same old thing odd bursts of song for short periods at one point i heard haifa fans singing to the tune of boney m 
I couldn't work out the songs tonight, sure there's some new ones, or it was the Maccabi fans singing, if so, there was a lot of them.
Acoustics are pretty crap at Old Trafford if you're watching the game through the tv/listening to the radio.
Don't know if it's something to do with the shape of the stands/roofs?

There were around 7000 Haifa fans and yes, most of the 'unknown' songs were theirs.

the opposition fans on european nights are always vocal.
I've noticed that too.
If only the OT crowd would respond to it. Some of them are far too stuck-up to sing and/or get involved, makes me sick. Can't these people just watch it on TV instead, and give the real fans a chance?

Maccabi had a song that seemed to be based on "Rivers of Babylon"!! and one chant that sounded like "You fat bastard" but I guess it was something Israeli
They also did the US army marching song "I don't know but i've been told.." and "Hey baby ooh aah" made an appearance once or twice.
...the wonders of sitting in east lower, all I could hear was them, not much noise from the rest of the east stand, and just the distant rumble of the stretford end arising...
For the record the crowd was 63000+ and the only empties I could see were way at the back of the north tier 3.

It will always be the Sretford end - never say the west stand
On second thoughts make that the STRETFORD end - I must still be pissed or in shock after Forlan's goal <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />
