Got some coverage of the Australia v New Zealand game on sky now...

Quite strange. Remember walking down to this cricket ground which happened to be deserted at the time. Went up to the reception desk and asked if it was ok to walk around the ground and stands which it was.

Was good. spent about 2 hours there on my own quite happy walking round the stands and taking photos.

Seems really weird that its full on telly.

Best cricket ground in the world bar none. You should have done the guided tour G4orce it's excellent. I'll be taking the in laws around when they come over for Xmas.

I like Adelaide oval but other one at Harrup Park Mackay is more beautiful.

They only do 1 a day when i was there. Which started kinda early at 9am. Had to get the train from Gawler everytime i wanted to go into town.

Oh no the best cricket grounds in the world consist of Edgbaston, Trent Bridge and of course Lords.

Not to mention Somersets very own County Ground in Taunton!

I was suprised how small this ground was in fact.

Long bump, but I think it's apt to tell you all it's well and truly been gutted out now. Bradman and Chapelli stands are gone.

Part of a redevelopment to take AFL footy back into town, it is expected that it will be completed by early 2014 looking something like this...
