It's obvious you weren't a supporter in the 70s then. No club can boast an atmosphere equal to that 20 - 30 years ago. Lets just accept thats the way it is.

I'd disagree with that. Newcastle, as formentioned have a great set of fans. Many of the lower-division clubs also create better atmospheres than most Premiership clubs.
