As the title suggests, what is that album you'll take to your grave, above all others? What album do you think would define your music taste up to this point?

Voodoo - D'Angelo, 2000

I hope to put this in Burndogg's thread one day, but I feel this is the most groundbreaking soul/funk album of the past decade. It's up there with Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder's best albums, IMO. And a lot of people agree.

So post that album you'll take to your grave, with a short blurb.

The tracks I was listening to at a very good time in my life. Still listen to them now. Truly classic tracks that translate to today, and have been the inspiration for many of today's amazing tracks
