ARSENE WENGER:
Arsene Wenger has claimed Alex Ferguson's men are NOT the biggest threat to his team retaining their crown.
Arsenal suffered a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford last Saturday, but Wenger said: "I would not say United will necessarily be our main rivals for the title this year. I was not especially impressed by them on Saturday.
"If you look at the possession and number of shots on goal, nothing was really produced by either side.
"The only difference was we made two big mistakes which led to goals. United didn't.
"That result was a boost for United but we are still top of the league so it was only a warning for us."
If ever there was a comment to strengthen United's resolve to shove the Premiership trophy up Arsene's arse then this was it.
Who the feck does he think he is? What match was he watching last Saturday? Didn't he see the whole game this time?
Wenger said recently, in a 'manager of the year' poll question answer that Alex Ferguson's only weakness is that he dosen't think he has a weakness. If he couldn't see that his side were outfought all over the pitch last Saturday, then perhaps he can't see the weakness in his own team either?
I really hope Alex Fergeuson doesn't rise to such ludicrous comments and lets United do the talking on the pitch. It's time Wenger was taken down a peg or two - that 'BBC Sports Coach of the Year' award has certainly gone to his head.
End of rant - feel free to join in...
