Thanks for returning us a favour after we tried to bail you out by paying an exorbitant price for Rio, a fair trade-off methinks, but can we have Kewell as well at a huge discount? :)

From yesterday's performances by the Leeds players, I think Kewell is the only player I'd like to see at OT.

Robinson was overweight, nervous, didn't make a worthy save, was badly faulted in his positioning with both Arsenal's goals - nowhere near the potential he showed 2 seasons ago - give me Rustu anytime!

The latter's more experienced & comes free! :)

But how much u have watched Rustu this season,I watched him but hasn't impressed me in league

tbh, I don't watch Turkish League games but Rustu is a big game player & I'm going on that basis - he had an outstanding WC ( & a very good Euro Championship in 2000 ) & I heard he had a very good game against England recently.

to be fair, where can we watch turkish football besides highlights on european football show?
though i still think rustu is a world class keeper, based on the performances in the world cup and against england recently. Robinson got bags of potential in any case. I wouldnt mind seeing either of them at OT.

Rustu will be free in the summer, but robinson would cost a substancial amount of amount tbh, and i would rather spend the dough on outfield players, like kewell!!(pity he's a scouse fan :( )

That's my point! :)

Especially if we were to keep the squad basically intact, the Board has indicated that there won't be much in the coffers & if there's only say, £10 mil to spend, I'd go for Kewell who can double up as a winger on both flanks, & a striker, & go for a freely available Rustu.

These 2 shud somewhat strengthen our squad tremendously!

As I've said ealier, Robinson is highly over-rated. He is a decent EPL level goalkeeper and nothing more.

Robinson is good but keepers like Friedel,cudicini,sorensen are better!!.

I don't understand the fuss about Sorensen,he is below Robinson's level and ppl are rumouring him to come to us
