so glad that he's not joining us

Brazilian World Cup winner Rivaldo has joined Serie A side AC Milan on a three-year contract.
The 30-year-old, who had been linked with Real Madrid and Newcastle, will earn a reported £3m a season with the cross-town rivals of his World Cup strike partner Ronaldo, who is at Inter.

Rivaldo apparently settled on a move to Serie A after being released from his contract a year early by Barcelona in a cost-cutting exercise.

Rivaldo is outstanding. With him it will be easier to win the Scudetto

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti
Rivaldo told reporters in Sao Paulo that he was looking forward to facing Ronaldo in the Milan derby.

"I'm already keen about this idea of playing against Ronaldo," he said.

"It will be very interesting. He's my friend, as we showed in the World Cup, but now we are playing for different sides.

"I think the first game between Milan and Inter will be one of the big attractions of the Italian championship."

"I'm very happy to have reached an agreement with Milan," he added. "It's a club which recognises me as a world champion."

Fuchin divin twat

No problem at all! He'll rock the place.

We should have signed him! :(

Phew!!!!!! <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

Rivaldo's physical condition is declining, it will be advisable for him to quit football in a near future, just like our Cantona did. He's been the best player (pre Zidane) I've seen for quite a long time and I hope that he doesn't spoil the end of his wonderful career.

What's the use of making so much money anyway?
