Fans of the old Test drive series will remember its gameplay for a more GT and FM kind of approach but its last iteration and its newest one have taken a different role in the video game market. Instead of focusing solely on racing its become almost a life simulator much like the sims with a driving game as the prominent feature. Now while you might say, its just Gran Theft Auto without the shooting, the game features real life roads on real life Islands. The first TDU was based in Hawaii which has been remapped and re-textured to meet the current levels of the new Island Ibiza. Added to this, a car list consisting of koenigsegg, Ferrari, Aston Martin, BMW, Audi, McLaren, Mercedes, Ascari, Gumpert etc... will be a hell of alot of fun especially on some great driving roads.
Its not so much a racing game as a game where you can just sit back and enjoy tearing up highways in £200,000 supercars or just cruise along a beach side.
Now the game isn't for high end graphics or physics, more along the lines of the Midnight club style.
