No, he had something to do with boxing, my long term memory is normally quite good, although maybe the specifics are slightly wrong, boxing is in there.

If I remember correctly, he made some egotistical comment about how he was bigger than the Beatles or something like that. After that, people got sick of him, and his career went to the shitter. Not sure if that's 100% right. Sounds like a good story though.
