After following United last season and watching Monday’s Wolves match. Without Eriksen last season. I observed and recognized United were struggling with to build up and creative. Why? Because Casemiro strongest and specialist ability is to break up opponents attack. Casemiro is not a natural cm playmaker. With Real Madrid he had the world best cm playmaker in Luka Modric and the all around Toni Kroos beside him.

And with United. Without the creative of Eriksen and a not a natural cm playmaker in Mason Mount. Are reasons why I think and believe United were struggling with the ball against Wolves. Wolves were better with the ball and passes than United. During the whole game.

And I saw Casemiro lost the ball easily when he kept the ball too long. He is ok when he keeps it simple and play the ball quick. But to get away from high aggressive press. It is not Casemiro’s best ability on the football pitch.

Mason Mount was struggling in his debut. Because he has never been a natural cm playmaker. And without the natural creative ability of Eriksen. Were the factors and reasons United were struggling.



But during last season. I do recognized that Eriksen has lost his legs = lost the top speed with the ball. On the top level. Eriksen is not on his peak anymore. And I think Unite and Ten Hag need a lot of time. To turn Mason Mount to a really good and dominate cm playmaker.

Bruno will take lesser time to adapt to a deeper roll as the cm playmaker. But you might prefer Bruno further up the pitch.
