Technology is mind blowing.

Why be creative when a bot can do it. I am assuming the video was done by a person? At least I hope so.

Robots are taking over…

Who do you think wrote the software? Wasn't a robot

People thought creative work like design and music would be one of the last to be impacted. Turns out it's next, along with other white collar jobs. Over the next decade or two, obviously.

Maybe not for long. Ai now out there that can create the coding for an app you want to design
Maybe so but it'll be a while yet, AI doesn't really do it better, just quicker

Well it is early days but there has been an app developed using Ai to help people with mental health issues. When a person calls a help line they are dealing with one person and their training and their knowledge. This app has the knowledge data base of massive amounts of information how to respond, prompt and answer questions relating to mental health. The feedback from users who were using the app was that it was better than dealing with one person.
Now thats an early trial example but my point is that this stuff is coming fast, its improving incredibly quickly and its not just a matter of being quicker. There are many examples of Ai already in place already but the reality is those are just the beginning and the tip of the iceberg.

When you say a while yet, what is your timeframe? I think by the end of this year we will see a decent number of Ai doing things better than we can do and of course faster. I think many people are going to be massively surprised at how fast this is happening.

So many red flags in terms of the security implications AI will and continue to have for us as a human species. Impressive and yet mildly disturbing on many levels.
