Yea that line up will do
I think 3-0 will be a good result, Giggs, Ole and Scholes scoring

Think you've got it bang on there Gazza, wouldn't suprise me though if he fielded a youngster though, Danny Pugh seems to be making his way forward, he'd probably start if he was to choose anyone.

Does Pugh play on the right or left? I've heard contrasting descriptions of him.

He's come in on the right but mostly as a striker. I'm not sure if he's ever appeared on the left, I would have thought Kieran Richardson would be first in the queue there.

That's a fair shout.
You've gotta feel a little bit sorry for Phil Nev. he's been in great form and he loses his starting place.

Gary could be rested and Phil bought in imo. Gaz has played a fair bit since his comeback and it could be a wise move to rest him ahead of England duty.

or maybe Fergie will play him for Gaz to develop some sort of a minor injury and pull him out of the squad?

Pugh plays left back and left mid, and left mid is where he plays in the reserves, alternated with Kieran Richardson. He's not played too much this season on account of being moved up to the first team squad.

Yea so who ever said he was a striker and plays right side was way off

They'll do well to score from there

Its possible . . .

:)

Everton will battle and defend and give us little room, so despite Veron's performance last season in this fixture, I'd be surprised if he was able to have a great game this time. Last season we handled their forwards well, and I think we will again, though Rooney is a new and trickier proposition. I hope Ruud plays because we're definitely a more potent side with him in it, having said that, I'm sure a midfielder or two will also score, Beckhams's due another one for a start. I'll go for 3-1 to United, with Ruud, Beckham and Ole the scorers, and for them to score from a corner, or Rooney breaking through.

dmode
Common' ManUtd!

Anything but common in my opinion ;)

3-1

Personally I would like to see Diego Forlan play the whole 90 minutes tonight, even if Rudd is fit and plays alongside him.

Another thing is that I think Becks could do with a rest. He has not looked himself recently IMHO, so I would put Becks on the bench and put Scholes on the right side of midfield. I know this seems strange, but it worked with him last season, so it could help. This way, he is there if we need him.
