So I find myself down in London today attending the Taylor Hawkins tribute gig at Wembley.
As a big fan of Foo Fighters it was a real shock to wake up back in March to the news of Taylor’s passing. I’d got tickets to see the Foo Fighters play at Villa park, which was cancelled, so today is a full circle type event for me.
The line up is amazing, with members of Queen, Rush, QOTSA, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Oasis and others but the reason for the gig will make it a bittersweet occasion.
Anybody else in attendance today?

Anybody who wants to tune in can watch the live stream worldwide on MTV’s YouTube channel from 4.30pm BST

His son is drumming now with the band for Hero.
He's amazing.

Paul McCartney really needs to not go on stage anymore

was proper welling up when his son came on

he killed it though

Just arrived home. I thought Paul was great on Helter Skelter live imo.

Loved it. A real feel good atmosphere and celebration of music for Taylor.

I was there. What an incredible day. So sad yet so great too at same time.

Agreed. He wasn’t great. Put to shame by James gang, the old boys from Ohio who sounded great. Joe Walsh has still got it!

Watching Taylor’s lad proper bought it home and I had a lump in my throat the whole song!
