What is up with tapping up top young prospects from other clubs this window?

The likes of Pellistri and Diallo flattered to deceive at their respective loans. Can yet think of a few youngsters who would immensely improve our setup like Zaire-Emery from PSG. Does twelve Hag prioritise experienced players now?

Have we given up on tapping up the new Fabregas?

Is it just me or does the OP have nothing to do with the thread title?

He’s wondering why we haven’t signed any young prospects like Diallo or Pellistri this summer. I don’t think we signed any last summer either? Or in the winter window? guess we don’t have the cash to spare because every spare penny needs to be invested in the first team.

Isn’t Højlund a young prospect?

I am thinking of prospects yet to turn pro, like Piqué back in the day.

Loads of talented 16-17 year olds could improve us mid term, seeing as we seemingly cannot compete with City and Chelsea financially

Not like our own academy has produced world beaters lately.

Diallo flattered to deceive during his loan? That's been one of the most successful loans I can recall.

As for bringing in youngsters.. we've just brought in Højlund (20), Harry Amass (16), Jack & Tyler Fletcher (16) this summer.

Brexit means (brexit, but also that) we can't sign foreign players until they're 18.

British clubs cannot sign young players like we used to after Brexit.

I'm not sure Amad flattered to deceive though, his loan spell was actually a positive one.

How did Amad flatter to deceive at Sunderland? He was great.
