Anybody seen it? It is absolutely hilarious. Complete comedy nirvana.

Louis CK, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais sitting together and just talking about their favourite bits and the craft of standup.

I can't wait for the next episode.

Talking Funny Trailer (HBO) - YouTube

Are they doing another one? Thought it was just a one off...

I don't know...is it? :( I just assumed there was another episode because at the end, they said 'Join us on Talking Funny.'

I'm not trying to jump on the anti-Gervais bandwagon, but that really would have been funnier without him. He just laughs sycophantically at what the other 3 says and tries to pretend he's studied the art of stand-up comedy, when in reality his stand-up is not that great and relies on the strength of his television shows to sell out.

Just watched the trailer, would have to agree with Gazza, Gervais would actually put me off watching it.

Would have loved some Chapelle in there.

When I watched the program last month I sensed Seinfeld and Chris Rock were a bit skeptical of what Ricky could offer to the discussion, they ended up challenging some of his half-thoughts. Louis CK seemed more inclined to dig his mate out of several holes.

Indeed... Still, he took the initiative for all this so I can't bring myself to dislike him.

Hearing comedians talk amongst themselves is always great irreverent fun... Good job in including Chris Rock so they could have at the Suarez-y subjects too without it seeming like bullying.

Gotta love CK :)

Yeah, Gervais is a bit out of his depth in the conversation but if you look at the credits at the end, the production company is Gervais's.

I also noticed that Chris kind of had a go at Gervais for not being in the business nearly as long as the other three. When Gervais was talking about his 'first bit that he remembered,' Chris said 'he wrote it last week!' It is all a bit of banter but yeah, I got the feeling that Seinfeld and Rock were a bit skeptical towards Gervais.

They are all mates.

Louis CK is the superior stand up comedian. He never does the same bit two years in a row and it's still hilarious each time. His show Louie is also brilliant which he does all by himself.

I don't mind Ricky at all. His stand up is good. I can rewatch Animals, Fame and Politics more than I can watch Chris Rock's stuff. He's great though but I laughed more at him when I was 14.

Seinfeld is a legend. His show is brilliant despite his bad acting.

I'm amazed the majority of people in the UK don't get Seinfeld...it's clearly and by a long way my favourite comedy programme.
