That Robbo article where he goes on about Keano losing the captaincy cos of too much controversy.
Leaving aside the rights and wrongs, I can recall Robbo often being involved in controversy....

Keano has been the most influential United payer for the last 10years; he's been a legend!
It makes me laugh that if you criticize Veron you get slated but it's all right to criticize Keano, Giggs, Scholes.........

Keano = Mr. United
He can do no wrong IMO! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

It'll be a sad day when he stops playing for United!

Criticizing Seba is the new black on here. It's players like Keano, Giggsy and Scholesy you get slated for criticizing, surely.

You get slated for criticisng any united player usually - it's not the done thing - it singles you out as a waverer where support is concerned. it suggests that you are verging on switching to the Arse.

How can a player do no wrong?

That doesnt make any sense, no player is bigger than the club. There are players that have been great servants to the club, have spent the best part of their careers with us but, that will never be enough to make them infallible.

Actually, I'm not nervous at all but some peeps round here are getting very anxy!

I think Robbo`s words were reasonable. He is a United legend and is still very attached to the club at heart.

I think Keano lovers (and I include myself among them) have to distinguish between the faux controversy shit stirring from the media and others, and genuine opinions from people who know what it is like to live in the spotlight as Manchester United Captain.

I personally don`t think all these off-field pressures are going to do anything to Keano`s game - if anything he will be even more single-minded in trying to reclaim the Premiership and win the Champions` League. However, Robbo is entitled to his measure opinion.

Really!!!! To my mind Robbo was the leader by example and gave his all (including ligaments and broken bones) to the red shirt - without much fuss.
