Chelsea. Come at me bitches!
Hi guys, thought I'd get a bit of publicity going for this. One of the English kids (I mean kid literally, he's only just turned 18), Liam Pitchford, has been playing in the European Championships this weekend. Ranked 267 in the world, he's beaten the world numbers 9, 20, 51 and 96 this week, which is incredible, as I'm sure you'll agree.

His next match in the singles tournament is against the world number 115 from Ukraine, which based on his current performances, he's capable of winning. It's being streamed live on the internet here at 7.30PM tonight, UK time. So if you want to watch some good quality table tennis, supporting one of England's brightest players in the form of his life, then do so! Unfortunately I can't watch it myself as I'm going out in the evening, but maybe this will get some publicity going for Liam and for the sport in England in general. If you have time and want to, please watch!

Cheers guys.

Well it looks like Pitchford won again! Thanks to those of you who watched, I'll keep you updated with how things go in the later rounds, and will post any links to English matches that are streamed live. Thanks again to the people who watched :)

I would have watched had I seen this before hand, keep me posted an I'll watch next time.

Will do Robocop. He's playing the world number 62 tomorrow, if there's a stream I'll post it. In other news, the English number 1 lost to the world number 65, and the English number 4 is playing the world number 208ish as well.

Got a Wikipedia link to this competition? Does the winner get crowned European Champion?

There are too many Table Tennis tournaments with Football names. The European Champions League, the World Cup, the European Championship.

Cor Blimey.
