I'd be interested to see what sort of imagery posters on the Caf get from the song I've included in the soundcloud link below. It's the 5th and final track off my debut E.P. The song is called Sweet Leanna, and the accompanying guitar you hear is by an incredible folk guitarist by the name of Benjamin Folke Thomas. You can find him on Facebook.

Maybe we could come up with a set of images and launch the song on youtube....obviously only if you have the time to do so. Reckon it'd be a bit of fun.

Oh and it's also downloadable so feel free to grab it. I guess I'll leave it downloadable for the day. Hope you enjoy it.

The song itself is actually a juxtaposition of the innocence of childhood and the harsh realities of adulthood

for some reason the description of the instruments used on the EP where it says "whistling (lips)" makes me laugh, i've no idea why.

Ah ok now I see what you mean. Hehe - yeah it was a sort of half joke half serious :)

You've got a great voice Kinky, some of the Carnival Red songs are pretty good too, especially the third one.

Sweet Leanna reminded me a bit of my childhood I guess, dunno why.

Well done and good luck with the album.

I'd say all of the songs are excellent. Just my opinion ;)

Hmm.

A guy (or girl) in an abandoned theme park wandering around with a plain helium balloon in tow. At each ride, intercut with old home movie footage of him (or her) as a kid happily riding the merry-go-round/ferris wheel/etc.

At the very end, (s)he leaves, sans balloon. Show it tied to a railing somewhere.

Couple days to film. Couple days to edit/mix.

5 million views, minimum.

fecking love it! That actually really ties into the theme I have in my head

Edit: Sorry I meant that by the way. I just re-read it and it could look like I was punning like a dickface

A bit of a Cat Stevens vibe to it. (hope that doesn't bother you)

Also shared on FB so hopefully a few more hits for you.
