october 20th on xbla and wiiware, it looks fecking brilliant

hes a big slab of meat and you have to travel through 300 or so levels to save his girlfriend bandage girl

Its out today, only 800ms points for a limited time

Its been getting great reviews all over, 9/10s and stuff

Cant wait to get home and get my meat on

I accidentally bought it last night. Saw it on the marketplace and clicked download thinking it was the demo but turns out it was the full game.

Seems ok so far. Bit basic for my tastes but I motored through the first stage.

Loving the Street Fighter reference on the title screen.

the first 10-15 levels are to basically ease you in to the game

i downloaded it today and its brilliant, one of the most addictive games ive played in years, proper old school 2d platforming

would definatly recomend it to everybody, definatly miles better than 99% of the other games on the arcade

a few reviews

Official Xbox Magazine

100% This may well be the best tenner you ever spend

Giant Bomb

100% This game is most certainly not for everyone--if you can't handle extremely hard games, you're better off marveling at this spectacle from a distance--but those who can stomach the difficult and appreciate the bizarre will take every ounce of punishment Super Meat Boy dishes out and beg for more.

1UP

100% So, yes, it can be frustrating, but getting past those roadblocks also leads to the game's most memorable moments. If you give it a chance I'm sure you'll feel the same.

TeamXbox

98% It's an absolute must-buy from Xbox Live Arcade and should be found on every hard drive of every Xbox in existence. While this all sounds like high praise, Super Meat Boy earns every word of it.

Gamer Limit

95% Super Meat Boy is a strong contender for the best platformer this generation. While it does have some fairly difficult moments, all of them are a product of solid, legitimately challenging design.

It started to get hard last night. The game not my penis. Although co-incidentally....

How hard does the game get? I've the words 'joypad' and 'smash' being used on a few forums. Sometimes in the same sentence.

Ive done about 5 levels of the 2nd world and its starting to get gradually more challenging, ive been trying to do the A+'s on the whole first world then trying to complete all the dark world versions of them, theres 20 bandages on each world too so been trying to get them too, some of them are a real pain in the ass

Theres loads to do, gonna take forever to complete, can see it getting really challenging the further in you get

Is this game only on Xbox?

Pretty awesome name for a game, I must admitt.

I'll check it out tomorrow, heard good things too.

Its been getting cracking reviews, the guys that make it have found some loophole with microsofts dlc aswell so will be adding free levels every so often, they have already added 20 that need to be unlocked somehow

Great game, highly addictive

Just downloaded this this morning, it's brilliant. Reminds me a lot of Mario: The Lost Levels, some of the stuff is ridiculously tough but rewarding when you finish it. I'm only 3/4 of the way through the second world, Commander Video is very useful.
