I used to work with a Pakistani woman who explained the sport to me in detail (I also watched a bollywood movie called 'Lagaan', full of Cricket) and after all that, I still don't understand it at all. So no, I'm not a fan.

For me it's not so much boring as "what the feck is going on?" and "how did they achieve that score?". on occasion I'm a bit thick.

Um, mostly the scoring.
I think I know that the bowler tries to knock over the three sticks to get the batter out, and the runs are scored by running back and forth between the bowlers spot and the sticks (are those wickets?).
