Strikethroughs

Is there a reason for them not being used on this forum?

If not, would it be possible to implement this feature? I wouldn't use it for anything particularly important but it'd be nice to have.

They'd make things very ugly and you know some annoying posters would use them incessantly to muck up the aesthetically pleasing nature of the boards.

I can't think of a compelling reason to have them.

I think they're used more for "comedic effect" than corrections.

1) Download Photoshop
2) Print Screen your post
3) Import into Photoshop
4) Put line in your post
5) Select 'File' then 'Save for Web Devices'
6) Save as .Gif
7) Upload to Imageshack
8) Upload to Redcafe

On another forum I frequent me and a mate did this a bunch of times and successfuly confused the head admin there, who had previously turned off strikethroughs.
